College Story Time || Mulligan 3 of 125
I made some friends there, one of whom I still chat with when I occasionally log on to the old account that is now my alt. But like almost all things, that RP fell apart and we all scattered to the winds. The closest I could find to the kind of vibe I was looking for after that came in the form of a small town type rp. It was rated M so families could be there, and more adult content could still happen as long as it wasn't in local. It was perfect. And that's where I met Amy. Amy is the first SL friend I crossed the RL line with. And I suppose the only one, now that I'm open about who Mk Velinov is behind the avatar.

Sophie and Judas Redux || Mulligan 2 & 3 /125
Yeah, I didn't include Raven in my initial math of 4 heads x 25 pics = 100 because that wasn't the plan, but then I started recreating this look and did the whole dang thing with her still on. Oops. So I guess it's 125 instead of 100.
Goodness y'all, the way I LOVED this hair when I first got her. I wore her SO MUCH, and in all the different colors! I did remember to add a hair base this time: just one of the ones that was included with my head. The make-up I wore in the original is the same palette from my previous post that I ended up deleting, but I was able to achieve something similar with this Amorette Eye Shadow from Amara Beauty and Gift lipstick from Sintiklia. To finish off the face, I added these Veechi freckles that I like to wear a lot.
I have no idea which eyes I was wearing in the original look, because I think at that time I had a page where I listed the head, eyes, and skin I wore all the time before eventually abandoning that idea and redoing my blog and all that stuff, so decided to use the Verdant Eyes from Cazimi, which are one of my go-tos.
I was actually pretty impressed with how these BDR jeans still look pretty good as a BOM layer, and I still like these boots, even if I did have to fight to reposition them a bit to look right. I don't remember deleting the top I originally used, but it no longer exists in my inventory, so I subbed in the Elisa Henley from Blueberry. I finished it off with the Yazil rings from Kibitz and Dream Necklace from Zombie Suicide instead of that choker that I used to wear with everything to hide the ugly neck line I could never properly camouflage.
So here she is: the new photo in the frame, next to the one and only other picture I took with Raven, which was the last LotD post I did before my hiatus, so we'll go ahead and count it toward my total.

And to show I'm serious about this project, I've set almost all of my previous posts as drafts, so if I want them to see the light of day again, I have to make the recreation post to go with it. Does this make sense? Doesn't matter!
Quite literally for a decade now, I've had grand plans of keeping my inventory organized by blogging an item and then moving those items to their designated folders - which I'm actually pretty good about, except I acquire things at a much faster rate than I blog them. And then I stopped blogging. But just posting the last two made me realize how much I've missed it, so I really want to start blogging again. So I am now instituting a new rule that I will absolutely not be following for more than a week: Buy One Blog Two. That's right kids, if I want to buy something I have to blog at least two things to earn it. And since I bought three things today, (They'll be in my next house tour) I must blog six now!
So to kick things off we're taking it back to 2017, and my very first LotD post. And boy howdy was it harder than I expected. I had a heck of a time picking a post where my arm wasn't sticking through the black part of the sleeve. (And I for sure would never get anything done if I had to photoshop). The top is rigged for Maitreya, but I'm not sure if its from early enough that we hadn't mastered rigging for specific bodies, or (more likely) I just messed with my shape enough the top didn't like it. I'm not going to complain too much though, because it was a free gift for Women's Day at Hilly Haalan.
I seem to have deleted the make up HUD I used in the original post, and you couldn't really see the shoes, so I've switched both of those out, making the look a little bit more casual by wearing sneakers, and choosing similar but toned down make up. I also haven't the slightest idea what pose that was, and those are the least organized kind of item in my inventory.

Okay, more like restarting and slightly modifying.
So a while back, I made this post where I mentioned these frames I have from Moss n Mink and how I wanted to fill them with photos using the heads I was no longer using but never got many photos of. On the left here is when I wore my first mesh head, Catwa's Helena and the right is when I upgraded to a Bento mesh head, Sophia, also from Catwa. But after that I upgraded again to the HDPRO head Majer (still Catwa), but I only took one or two photos with her before Catwa rocked grid by dropping that free Queenie head.
These days I'm wearing the Raven head that LeLutka gave out for free two Christmases ago. (I believe they gave out another free head last year, but I was barely on SL around that time and totally missed it.) This means I have a whopping 4 mesh heads I've barely taken any photos with. I've also gotten a little bit better at taking photos in SL than I was when I first started, so I kind of want the chance to redo some of the photos I think I could have done a bit better with.
But! If you saw my house tour post, you may have noticed these hanging polaroids from Chez Moi. They hold 25 photos as opposed to the 12 from the other frames, and for some reason 25 feels like a better goal. Don't ask me why, I don't know. So, 4 heads times 25 pictures... that's a simple 100 photos I need to take. It will be slightly easier because one change I'm going to make is sticking more or less to the same skins and shapes for each head so it will be a much simple OotD thing than I had been making it. What can I say, sometimes you get caught up in weekend sales and think you really need a new skin every other day.

I'm really exited to recreate some of my earliest photos, and maybe switch up which version of me wears the older outfits just for funsies. I have worn the Maitreya Lara body this whole time until the LaraX came out, so that will be easy for all the clothes. I did document *most* of the outfits in OotD posts, but I have a few I took that I never ended up blogging, so those might be a real adventure to try and reassemble. I'm thinking of one specific picture I took at a New Year's party? Birthday party? thrown by Alicia before I learned about changing photo settings and is such a pixelated potato ass photo. Finding that dress again is going to be HARD, but I don't *think* I deleted it in The Great Purge. If so, it probably won't be that hard to replace because it was for sure made from a full perm template because I know at one point I had the same one in different patterns from half a dozen different stores.
In fact, it was Alicia's recent SL story times on facebook that inspired me to restart this silly project. Maybe I'll get really wild and try to recreate some pre-mesh looks from memory and the small handful of pictures I have... 🤣
